Fascinating

Today we will go to Waiteria, a small town nearby, and to Morgan's green stone rock shop. His work is lovely and very meaningful. Each piece has significance and is carved with love and caring. Morgan explained that when buying a piece for someone else, we should take the time to wear the piece for some time, so that it "absorbs" our essence, which is then passed on to the person to whom we chose to give it; the piece will then absorb that person's essence, which will enhance the piece of stone further.
Morgan is another gentle, kind, wise and giving Maori. He explained that Mount Taranakai gives him his strength. His art is intricate, his stories fascinating. He works with many Maori men who are in prison, teaching them art and just being a friend to each one. As he speaks, you can feel the depth of his caring and his sense of duty to help them find a different meaning for their lives.
Word for the day: FASCINATING
